Each Sun-Pure SP-10 replacement kit includes one 3-cartridge filter & one ultra violet lamp that delivers approximately 1,300 gallons of purified water.

We also carry the SP-10 older 2 cartridge kit.

Filters and UV lamp should be changed on an annual basis, or sooner if the "service now" red light on the Sun Pure SP-10 water purifier indicates this need.

We only sell the replacement kits, as the SP-10 water purifier is no longer available.

This excellent Sun-Pure water filter replacement kit removes chemicals, heavy metals, fluoride, chlorine, bad odors and taste while destroying bacteria, viruses and parasites.

Water Cleaning Prefilter

Heavy duty 1 micron sediment filter removes dirt, rust, scale, silt, sand and other suspended particles including cysts such as crytospridium and giardia to produce sparkling clean, clear water.

Chemical & Lead Removal Filter

Molded carbon block filter "Carbon compressed under high pressure" removes chlorine, THM's, "chloroform-carbon tetrachloride", benzene, chlorinated solvents, herbicides, pesticides, and other related volatile organic hydrocarbons.

Incorporated into the carbon block filter is the "Engelhard ATS leads sorbent matrix material irreversibly locks onto any lead in solution reducing the concentration well below Environmental Protection Agency guidelines.

Heavy Metal Taste & Odour Filter

Activated tricalcium phosphate also known as "calcium hydroxyapatite". This material is well known for its ability to reduce fluoride and many heavy metals such as aluminum and copper through absorption and ion exchange processes.

Granular activated coconut carbon media is used to absorb chemical contaminants of light molecular weight such as THM's, chlorinated compounds, and radon which can be displaced by the pre-filter after prolonged use.

Ultraviolet Disinfection Chamber

An important feature of the Sun-Pure Water Purifier is the use of Ultraviolet Light to destroy microorganisms in the water.

Ultraviolet light attacks viruses and bacteria by destroying the RNA and DNA complex of these organisms. Once this complex is destroyed the disease causing viruses, bacteria, and parasites can no longer reproduce themselves.

Independent Lab Tests

All Sun-Pure water purifier products are submitted to independent testing laboratories for third party validation of performance.

Truesdale Laboratories, located in Tustin California was selected to test the Sun-Pure water purifier. This laboratory is certified by both the EPA and FDA to perform both chemical and microbiological testing to NSF and ASTM protocol.
